The Albuquerque Publishing Company, home to the Albuquerque Journal, New Mexico's most widely circulated newspaper, needed to revamp its internal safety awareness status.
By establishing a visually and informationally consistent and pleasing safety campaign, employees were reminded that their safety and that of their coworkers always comes first. By posting statistics, employees are constantly reaffirmed as doing a good job and maintaining a safe environment.
The safety campaign logo, the acronym APC: Always Practice Caution was rendered in bright red and yellow. APC, also being the acronym for Albuquerque Publishing Company, is instantly familiar and memorable to employees, while the bright colors of the logo and accompanying signage help it stand out from the gray industrial environment of the press and distribution areas.
